Vinhos & Azeites do Alentejo | Wines & Olive Oils from the Alentejo
Wine is culture and tradition going back thousands of years. At Baena Mourão we are wine artisans and preserve both culture and tradition by making a different small batch wine every year that takes you on an adventure through times, places and techniques.
Some are regional traditions like our Talha wines made as the Romans did, and some are one-offs that we make simply because it's a great marriage of varieties, like our Aragonez-Syrah from 2021.
And some we need to work a little on, like our vinho de Curtimenta (orange wine) and other oxidative styles. They all have in common that they are very unique wines and experiences that we share with you and hope you will enjoy. Click on the respective links to learn more about them.
Few wine regions in Europe offer the rustic charm and warm hospitality of Alentejo. Whether you're a seasoned wine lover or a curious traveler, exploring local wineries through tastings is one of the best ways to experience the region.
