Moreto is a native red grape variety from the Alentejo found today predominantly on the left bank of the Guadiana river and the primary variety in red Talha wines (Amphora). It's a rustic variety that's well adapted to the hot and dry climate of the Alentejo, producing structured wines with rich cherry and red berry notes that are light and fresh.
This wine was awarded a Silver Medal by the Vinum Readership Panel in Switzerland and Germany.
